Frankie Yamsuan is the founder of Coconut Girl Ice Cream and its a Paleo Ice Cream sandwiches. Recently, she pitched her idea on ABC’s entrepreneurial TV show Shark Tank in hopes of scoring an investment.
Coconut Girl Ice Cream is a healthier option for a dessert cookie sandwich and its a grain-free and guilt-free. According to her website “Coconut Girl only uses REAL ingredients and is sweetened with dates, honey, & maple syrup. No cane sugar like most “healthy” desserts. Our coconut milk frozen dessert won’t disappoint and it has ice cream lovers wanting more!.”
Curently, she has three products: Aloha Chocolate, Hang Loose Vanilla, and Beach Bum Maple.

In 2018, she learned about an open casting call in Southern California through the Instagram post and didn’t qualify for the Shark Tank. Then, after a year later i.e on March 2019 she applied once again and made it to the filming round.
Coconut Girl is the name of her Paleo Ice Cream sandwiches and she started making them as a snack for herself, then things got interesting. One day she threw a smoothie and some dates into an ice cream maker and the results were delicious and she shared the ice cream with few friends and received positive comments and this made Yamsuan turning this hobby into a business.
Right now, The Coconut Girl is only available in southern California, Nevada, Hawaii and Arizona supermarkets and convenience stores – including Whole Foods.
