Alison is an English Artist and was born without arms and with shortened legs, a condition called phocomelia. Moreover, she learned to live without any external aids. Earlier, she was fitted with artificial limbs and that made her look less disconcerting instead of helping her.

She completed her Education from Chailey Heritage School with a CSE in Art and moved to London. Later, attended Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People at the age of 19 and there she learned to drive.
