Who is Michelle E. Morse? Wiki, Net Worth, Biography, Age, Husband

Michelle E. Morse, aka Michelle Evelyn Morse, is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an internist. Following a series of tweets in which she referred to Whites as “birthing people” and Blacks and Hispanics as “mothers,” the top health officer in New York City received a lot of backlash on Twitter.

In a series of tweets, Morse advocated for more products and services to be distributed to women of color. According to Morse, a disproportionate number of them died during or shortly after childbirth.

She also pointed out that black and Puerto Rican mothers died at a significantly higher rate than white mothers during childbirth. To address this, Morse recommended on Twitter that minority populations have more access to doulas, a type of trained midwife, and other services. Morse drew controversy on social media after being accused of racial segregation of moms.
