Daisha rose through the ranks over the years on our show and her legacy lives on in the stories she’s told. Rest in peace, Daisha.”
Furthermore, Producer Tony Morrison wrote on Twitter “Absolutely devastated tonight to learn that Emmy-winning journalist, producer, and friend, Daisha Riley, passed away last night. She was a force, full of talent, and a powerful perspective. We’ll be honoring her tomorrow on @GMA. Daisha is the 4th GMA staffer we’ve lost in 2020.”
Later, many tributed her on social media and Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts tweeted, “Daisha Riley was a remarkable woman….talented, creative, kind, a beautiful soul in every way. Condolences to her beloved family. Our @GMA family loved her and will be forever grateful to have experienced Daisha’s grace & grit.”
Curently, she was serving as the Producer at ABC News Good Morning America and she joined in 2007.
She began her career as Tape Coordinator at MTV Networks and served there from June 2006 to August 2007. Then, she joined ABC’s Good Morning America as Production Associate and then was promoted as Associate Producer in July 2011.
From June 2014 to present, Riley was Producer at ABC News Good Morning America.
