Channing Carson
Channing Carson aka Chan Lowe was born on 1953 in New York City, New York, United States of America. He is an American Cartoonist, a Feature writer who is popular for being the son of famous American Actress, singer, and comedian, Carol Channing.
Recently, the 97-years-old actress has died on January 15, 2019, due to her health issue. Channing Carson spent her last moments at her home in Rancho Mirage, California.

Following the death of Carol Channing, Fran Drescher stated that “I feel so sad that world will no longer feel the bright light of Carol Channing. She was an enormous comedic talent and a person who represented the best of the biz across all media.”
Channing Carson after completing his High School in New York, he enrolled in Williams College and earned his graduated degree in Art History (1975). Alex Carson is the father of Channing Carson and his mother Carol Channing, Former Actress, singer, and dancer.
Channing Carson was married four times and her ex-spouses are Theodore Naidish, Charles Lowe and Harry Kullijian. Channing was a talented cartoonist since his young age. He used to sketch varieties of cartoon during his school days.
After Graduating from the College, Channing Carson was associated with Shawnee News-Star and was working as a staff artist and an editorial cartoonist until 1977. Later from 1978-1984, she joined Oklahoma City Times and served as editorial cartoonist for almost 6 years, thus gaining immense experience as a cartoonist.
After working for the number of years in Oklahoma City Times, she got an opportunity to work as an editorial cartoonist for Sun-Sentinel in Fort Lauderdale, where she served in the firm for over 31 years. The cartoonist has also appeared in various shows like ‘The Daily Show’, ‘Larry King Live’ and ‘The Rachel Maddow Show’.

- The National Press Foundation’s Berryman Award.
- In 1990, he was Pulitzer Prize finalist.
- His cartoons have appeared in some of the National publications like USA Today, The New York Times, Newsweek, etc.
- In 1997, Channing’s kinetic sculpture at the exhibitions at National Gallery for Caricature and Cartoon Art in Washington.
